Managed burstable connections are a cost effective way for small businesses to get fiber-backed broadband speeds. When the connection bursts above the committed bandwidth of 2 Mbps, the connection is managed favoring business applications, like VoIP, Web browsing, chat and email, at the expense of large downloads. Burstable connections are a managed service and come with a router, monitoring and maintenance. Bandwidth options offer burst from 5 Mbps to 100 Mbps.
Managed Fiber Hand-off Dedicated Broadband
Fiber Hand-off connections provide for 100% guaranteed uptime, symmetrical service (meaning the same upload and download) and come directly off fiber. Fiber hand-off connections are business level managed circuits which include a router and 24x7 router monitoring and maintenance. Routers are replaced throughout the life of the circuit. Bandwidth options range from 1.5 Mbps through 1 Gbps.
